About
Quality Control
The same checks run on every product line, from ceramic tiles to sanitary ware, before anything is packed for export.
Quality on a tile or a WC is decided before it's ever fired — in the clay, the pressing and the kiln schedule. What we check, and when.
Raw materials
Ceramic bodies are mixed from purified clay, silica and feldspar to a controlled ratio before pressing. Sanitary ware uses vitreous china slip, cast to a consistent density. Material batches are checked before they go into production, not after.
Pressing and forming
Tiles are formed under high-tonnage hydraulic presses to eliminate internal voids before firing — the step that determines whether a slab comes out flat and dense or develops hairline cracks under load later. Sanitary ware bodies are slip-cast in single-shot or multi-part moulds, dried under controlled humidity so a large one-piece body doesn't crack as it dries.
Firing
Kiln temperature and schedule are set per product line — higher and longer for porcelain and vitrified bodies than for standard ceramic, which is what gives porcelain its lower porosity. Firing is where water absorption gets set: our vitrified and porcelain ranges run below 0.5%, tested per batch.
Batch testing
Each production batch is tested for breaking strength, water absorption, surface flatness and dimensional variance on tiles; for glaze faults, warping and trap seal on sanitary ware, with WCs individually flush-tested and cisterns pressure-tested for leaks. Batch numbers are logged, so a shade or dimension issue traces back to a specific run — and so a repeat order six months later matches what you already have on site.
Before packing
A final visual and dimensional check happens right before boxing — glaze pinholes, edge chipping, warping, colour consistency across the batch. What doesn't pass doesn't ship.
Documentation
Batch test summaries can be included with your shipment on request. If your import contract or letter of credit requires a third-party pre-shipment inspection, tell us when you place the order and we'll accommodate the inspector's visit.

Frequently asked questions
Do you test every piece, or a sample from each batch?
Batch testing on the physical properties (breaking strength, water absorption, dimensional variance), and visual/functional inspection — glaze, warping, trap seal, flush performance — on individual pieces before packing.
What water absorption standard do your tiles meet?
Our vitrified and porcelain ranges run below 0.5% water absorption, tested per batch.
Can you supply test reports or a pre-shipment inspection for our order?
Yes — batch test summaries can be shared with your order, and we can accommodate a third-party pre-shipment inspection if your contract requires one. Tell us the requirement when you place the order.
